Uprise ’19

Uprise '19

For the past two years, the BUMC Firestarters have had the opportunity to attend Uprise Fest and we have had a great time! This year we are returning for another great weekend of amazing bands, food, and fun.

Uprise ’19 is September 13 & 14 at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds in Pennsylvania. The cost for each Firestarter to attend this event will be $50, which will include their ticket to the festival and their hotel stay. If they would like to invite their friends from other churches, the cost is $75.

Details about the lineup will be announced closer to festival time.

We ask that parents register each of their Firestarters to attend Uprise ‘19 with us. Please register at the bottom of this page and submit payment by no later than August 25

This year we will once again be staying overnight in a hotel in Shippensburg. Each hotel room will be staffed by someone at least 18 years old. Transportation to and from Shippensburg will be provided by chaperones. We will return for Sunday services on September 15.

Kingdom Keys

This year’s Lock-In focused on Kingdom Keys. The things that unlock the Kingdom of Heaven and give us access here on Earth.

Romans 10:9-10
-Yeah, it’s simple but it’s not always easy for people to do.

Romans 3:22-26
-Jesus righteousness makes us heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven. Kingdom Kids get keys.

Authority through Salvation
Ephesians 1:17-22 (AMP)

Matthew 16:19
-We have keys to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. We can unlock doors and experience God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit in a real and meaningful way. These keys are a symbol of authority that we are children of King Jesus.

Romans 8:37-39
-Nothing can stop God’s love for us. Our salvation through Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross means that our purpose is sealed and protected. We will be and can be victorious over all the schemes and plans of Satan.

The Gel…
